Assist the service department manager with taking customer orders over the phone or via email, writing customer work orders, ordering marine parts, entering vendor parts invoices, and building customer work order invoices.
Ensure customer invoices are promptly delivered, book in customer payments upon receipt.
Clerk at the ships store/fuel dock as needed and work manager on duty shifts at various times during the week on weekends as required.
Assist manager with customer relations, communications and correspondence including emailing agreements, and forms.
Maintain vender and sub-contractor insurance files.
Maintain slip occupant insurance certificate files.
Marina and/or recreational boating experience is a plus.
This position requires superb writing and verbal communication skills, along with a high level of time management and organizational skills.
An accounting degree or accounting/bookkeeping training and/or experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate may find this opening could lead to fill an upcoming accounting/finance management position.
