Laboratory Director

An award winning Medical Center in New Jersey is looking for a Laboratory Director to lead a dynamic group of hospital Medical Laboratory Technologists. The Hospital Lab Director will be an experienced ASCP certified Laboratory Technologist with a Bachelor's of Science degree, clinical laboratory experience and 2 years of previous leadership experience. The Laboratory Director functions as a leader, innovator, coordinator, and change agent in the pursuit of improved operations, and is accountable for quality and financial outcomes. The Laboratory Director is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive and effective working relationship with all hospital departments, employees and medical staff. The Laboratory Director will work closely with pathologists, physicians, and an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals. The Director Laboratory will work collaboratively with the Vice President of Patient Care Services to identify needs in the department for improvement and will work with the hospital to achieve success and strive toward completing goals and objectives. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
